Chloe Arnold

The cost of being sick can be devastating to the family budget .. especially when it is a child who has been stricken. A little four year old from our own community has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphocyte Leukemia… even the name sounds scary, doesn’t it?

This sweet little 4 year old named Chloe is the daughter of Carl and Laura Arnold. Carl has dedicated his life to helping others. Carl is a former Eagle Scout with Ida Boy Scout Troop 538. He was an Ida Volunteer Fireman for 15 years and worked for Monroe County Ambulance. For 2 years Carl portrayed Santa at Christmas in Ida and Laura was Mrs. Claus for 1 year.

Carl now works for Spencer Township Fire Department as a Paramedic / EMT Chief. Laura has had to keep working while her daughter has been sick because she recently started a new job and her insurance didn’t take effect until September1st…. Illness has no sense of timing.

Chloe is currently beginning chemotherapy, the expense that comes with such an illness is very large. The Spencer Township Fire Department has created a GoFundME page and are asking for your help in raising money to help the Arnold family through this very difficult time.

Taking care of our own is what a small community is all about. After giving many years to helping others…. that thing know as Karma kicks in…. Giving back to those that help others.. I hope you will be able to help Chloe and her family in some way with their rising medical expenses…Carl and Laura should be concentrate on Chloe’s health and not on the bills that come with an illness such as this.
